At Cork Couples Counselling we offer a number of strategies and supports for couples who find their relationship in difficulty. Couples can book appointments each week as they see necessary or choose a solution focused approach. The presenting issue best determines what approach to take.


Solution-focused counselling is a therapeutic approach that emphasises goal-setting and strategy development for couples. In this type of therapy, couples work with our trained therapists to identify their desired outcomes and create practical steps to achieve them.  Typically, solution-focused couples counselling consists of 12 structured sessions, during which the therapist guides the couple in exploring their strengths, building effective communication skills, and fostering positive changes. By concentrating on achievable goals, this approach empowers couples to proactively address their challenges and enhance their relationship.
